Off Train Excursions offer extended stops of between two and six hours at key destinations. Guests are invited to undertake a selection of organised tours as part of their rail holiday. On the Indian Pacific, Off Train Excursions are available at Broken Hill, Adelaide and Kalgoorlie. On westbound journeys, guests can choose to replace their Adelaide-based excursions with a visit to the world-renowned Barossa Valley wine region.
