Melbourne Afternoon City Tour

Experience the vastness of what Melbourne has to offer as you cruise through the inner northern suburbs of Fitzroy and Carlton, soaking up the finest Italian cuisine outside Italy. Visit the Queen Victoria Markets, Botanic Gardens, Rod Laver Tennis Center, MCG, St Kilda’s café lifestyle and view the city skyline from West Gate Bridge. Departs Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Lanes & Arcades

Enjoy a 31/2 -hour walking tour in Melbourne’s lanes and arcades maze of designer boutiques, quirky galleries and historical arcades for half a day. History, architecture, food, art, fashion, music and more. Includes lunch. Alternatively, you can take a 2-hour Sommelier’s evening city walk to three unique restaurants and enjoy generous food and wine tastings. Departs daily except Sunday.

Sovereign Hill

Visit Sovereign Hill, a re-created 1850s goldmining settlement. Explore the shops and wander the main street to visit goldsmiths and craftsmen at work. Pan for gold, visit the Gold Museum, tour an underground mine or ride in a traditional horse drawn carriage (own expense). Tour is 9 hours and departs daily.

Great Ocean Road

Victoria’s world-famous Great Ocean Road presents some of the most fascinating and diverse coastal scenery that Australia has to offer. Travel to the holiday resort of Torquay. See Australia’s famous surf beach, Bells Beach, before stopping at scenic Apollo Bay for lunch (own expense). Continue to Port Campbell National Park to see the amazing 12 Apostles, remnants of London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge, the site of many historical shipwrecks. Return to Melbourne at approximately 7:30pm. Tour is 111/2 hours and departs daily at 8:00 am.

Puffing Billy, Yarra Valley & Healesville Wildlife Park

Experience Australia’s most renowned steam train, Puffing Billy. This narrow gauge railway winds through lush ferns and towering timbers. Enjoy a delicious lunch with samples of table wine complemented by warm local hospitality at Fergusen Winery, nestled in the foothills of Healesville Sanctuary. See koalas, kangaroos, platypus, kookaburras, and dingoes. Tour is 9 hours and departs daily at 8:30am.

Savannah Wildlife Walkabout

See kangaroos and koalas in the wild! This naturalist guided ecotour gives you quality time to learn about wildlife and enjoy Australia’s wide open spaces. Walk among wild kangaroos and emus and see abundant birdlife around billabongs. Our special Koala Research Project ensures that we have multiple sightings of these delightful creatures in the wild. A delicious bush lunch is included. Tour is 81/2 hours and departs daily at 9:30am.

Hot Air Balloon Flight

See Australia’s second largest city with a breathtaking sunrise balloon flight. In the early morning light you’ll drift by the array of parks and gardens that make Melbourne so special. As the city comes to life, see some of the city’s iconic sporting venues like the MCG, Melbourne Park and Albert Park Racetrack. Your flight will last for approximately 1 hour. After you land and help pack the balloon away, you will be returned to your hotel. Tour is 4 hours and departs 30 minutes before sunrise.

Melbourne After Dark

As the sun goes down, see the breathtaking sights of Melbourne under lights and the heritage buildings through the Golden Mile. Enjoy dinner in Melbourne’s Little Italy Lygon Street or for a taste of Bohemia, Brunswick Street with live music streaming from every pub. See stunning panoramic views from Eureka Skydeck 88, nearly 1,000 feet above the ground, the highest viewing deck in the Southern hemisphere. Later, make your way to a rooftop terrace for soft jazz and cocktails.
